My tendency is to want to get to know people, and I have to admit, sometimes I would like to ask question but I bight my tongue not wanting to pry. Questions like "Who is Kochu?" "Are you Hindu by birth/nationality?" "Where do you live?" "How old are you?" These questions make me Wonder: When Hindus in India or Bangladesh or any Hindu country go to Temple to worship, do they KNOW the people they are worshipping and learning with? Like in American churches (admittedly it's been a while since I've gone to a Christian church, but when I do and when I have it always happens that ) after the religious service the congregation meets in the back room for coffee and donuts, to just socialize, get to kn ow one another better, and chat. I guess it is nice to have some time and space alotted just to getting to know the people one is worshipping with. There definitely is by and large when the group is not derailed into a tangent such as these recent ones, a feeling of worship and spiritual study about this group. Certainly Devi's analogies about the marketplace were very apt. Blessings, Love and Hugz, Cathie
