Words versus Images- Scripture reference

Recently I have heard various interpretation of the images of Kali and wondering

how was this arrived at . Is it form one's lineage ,guru of tradition ,or from

relevant scriptures ,experience or word of mouth .......................

 

Would learned members here enlighten me, the point of reference for such an

interpretation below

The very best way to understand the Kali image is to

meditate on Her yantra, and ask Kali Herself what it

all means!(If you dare!)

Lilith M,

 

Thank you for your advise but then there are variuos Kali yantra which would you

suggest ?( Pleaes check Kali scriptures or tradition out there)

 

As you suggested I would not ask but pray to Her to enlighten me

.......................

 

Daring is not an issue because I love her ................

 

But then again my question is still not obtained it's answer...................

I am trying to understand this statement. You mean we should be

afraid to ask Kali Ma herself? Is she so terrible, so frightening

that it will invoke such fear in the first place. To me it make no

sense. You spend hours worshipping HER, and when SHE actually

appear, you run away. Why?
