Guest guest
Jai Maa! I am looking at a picture of "The goddess Ishtar riding on a lion ... on her headdress she wears a star", a bas-relief from Tell Ahmar, 8th century bce - and Ishtar is "the personification of the planet Venus..." [Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology, p63] This is the true genesis of the Lady Tara ['star'], i feel sure; in that her genesis accords with the very dawn of history itself. Lady Ishtar! Jai Durga! Om Tara! krishnadas
Guest guest
93 Yeah. And the same Goddess whom we know as Tara and Aditi, Ishtar and Inanna, reveals Herself as Nuit in "Liber AL" (The Book of the Law). She says: "Invoke me under my stars! Love is the law, love under will.
