Join us earlier at 7 PM for unique celebration with special three-hour Halloween Journey with Parashakti, TranceBreath team, and Guest Elders: Dancing to Retrieve Lost Pieces of Our Soul - Halloween TranceDance for Facing Our Fears and Dark Side. The Shaman sees the Spirits and knows how to exorcise them; he recognizes that the soul has fled, and is able to overtake it, in ecstasy, and return it to its body." - Mircea Eliade, "Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ectasy" Every time we experience a Trauma in our life, we lose parts of our soul. Dancing to Retrieve Lost Pieces of Our Soul, uncovers the secrets and mysteries of ones true self. The primary goal is for the dancer to enter the void, the place of the unknown where the truth can be discovered and the missing Soul pieces can return. We create a safe sacred space in the dance; temporarily removing one's ego from its everyday comfort zone so that it can be introduced to a life more in Harmony with the desires of the soul, our destiny, the dance of life. But first the ego's self image must undergo a death, a complete transformation. This dance of initiation is done in the seclusion of darkness, the doorway to bridge the Spirit world and the Physical plain. It is within this opportunity that the dancer can reflect on the reoccurring patterns, obstacles and Physical, Spiritual, Emotional and Mental blockages through Dance. The body dances for its life, creating a prayer in motion. Advance tickets to "Dancing to Retrieve Lost Pieces of Our Soul" are available for $35. The $35 ticket includes free admission to the party (party begins 10:30 PM). Price at the door is $45 (only if tickets still available).
