Kali Yantra

Dear K.K.

Good. It is true, there are many of them out there.

I find the very simplest one, the downwards pointing

one of five red triangles layered one on top of the

other was the one I used. But I am not fussy. When I

see one of the others, I say to myself, "Oh, there is

Ma Kali in a different aspect! Jai Ma!" One could also

pray to Her to send you one...just adopt the next one

that pops up in front of you (no matter where!)after

you make this prayer. I once heard of someone who

received his mantra when he was accidentally kicked by

a saint emerging from bathing in the Ganges before

sunrise. The saint, startled, exclaimed "Ram Ram"! and

that person took that as his own mantra, and attained!

It is an excellent sadhana to paint one's own yantra

to use for meditation, too!

Thank you Lili,

Yes we could do that but also we need to be aware in each Kali yantra there are

different devatas (deities) sitting on them at different point before the

centre is resided by the Supreme Devi Kali herself . There is a slight

difference between 5 triangle with 8 petals circled by another circle with

another big triangle on top of it all before the 4 doored bhupura is closed as

compared to the same structure minus the final triangle on top of it(before the

bhupura closing) .Like below ;

dakshina kali yantra - http://www.shivashakti.com/kaliyan.htm

dakshina kali yantra - http://alumni.cse.ucsc.edu/~mikel/sriyantra/sri2.html

So which is the choice would according to which scripture was my question ?

Other kali yantra for your viewing ;

syama kali yantra - http://www.exoticindia.com/product/DC68

kali maha vidya yantra - http://www.sics.se/~piak/yoga/yantra/

mahakali yantra - http://www.saatwik.com/remedies/yantra/mahakali-yantra.html

Chamunda devi Yantra - http://www.angelfire.com/ma/ramakrishna/kali.html

I wish things were easier as the someone you mentioned in the story .Another

story- the future to be saint could not say Rama so he said it backward Mara !

Mara ! and still attained Rama . But I am no saint my friend.

Of course pure love to towards Supreme could also work but I dare not claim I

have purest love for HER . All I know my dear is I love Her and willing to find

anyway that could get closer to Her . Like the new boyfriend who goes around

asking the girls phone number and what she like to eat ,wear etc.etc.

I am trying to learn things in it s proper perpective( might be orthodox but a

cleared path) rather that just picking one and worshipping because I really want

to understand the yantra that I have choosen . So I could visualize it and

internalize it with proper understanding . I love her so much that I want

really try to understand her .............

But I would agree Her divine will would prevade end of the day and I can only

love Her to the best of my ability. The rest I surrender ........................

Thank you for your input on this

Jai Maa!!!!

To be perfectly frank, I have never studied any

scriptures. Maybe a bit of the Upanishads...I picked

this Yantra, painted it myself, and prayed to it, and

got results. If one is ignorant of the attributions of

the Yantra, but directs sincere devotion at it, God

takes care of the details..so few people, relatively

speaking, care about God with any level of sincerity

in the Kali Yuga, that anyone who DOES have it gets

FAST results..God rushes right there to them! At least

that's how it worked for me.I have the Master

Vimalananda to thank for this knowledge. I bow to him

as my guru!

This one is the basic.

However as i was taught colors are to be put different.

http://www.sics.se/~piak/yoga/yantra/ - approximately like here in

Kali-yantra, but 3rd triangle is of course black while circles and

petals simply red on black background.

The variant with 3 triangles in center is perhars a mistake - no

shastric or oral evidence in it`s support i`d ever had.

Pranam, Liliji.

*I once heard of someone who received his mantra when he was accidentally kicked

by a saint emerging from bathing in the Ganges before sunrise. The saint,

startled, exclaimed "Ram Ram"! and that person took that as his own mantra, and

attained!*

That person was the the poet Kabir and the saint is Ramanand. Just to let you

know....
