I often spend time thinking about the actions I take each day, and wonder which

of these have the most measurable impact on the environment. I suspect you do

too. The more I think about it, the more I feel that our transportation choices

- biking versus driving, hybrids versus conventional cars - are significant. How

we get from point A to point B can have a real impact on our planet.

Ford has recently begun production on the first hybrid gasoline-electric SUV -

the Escape Hybrid. This is a good first step, but Ford can - and must - do more

to improve the fuel efficiency of its SUVs. What Ford can and should do is clean
