Guest guest
According to the Gospel of Mary Magdalene: from Jean-Yves LeLoup's book in which he retells and interprets this Gospel: according to the Gospel of Mary Magdalene (leloup p. 48) 11 Peter said to him "Since you have become the interpreter 12 of the elements and the events of the world, tell us: 13 What is the sin of the world?" 14 The Teacher answered: 15 There is no sin. 16 It is you who make sin exist, 17 when you act according to the habits] 18 of your corrupted nature: 19 this is where sin lies." end quote: Now, my commentary, not Leloups, though he may agree with me, is that it is a mistake to assume that "corrupted nature" has anything to do with sex or that it has as some people assume EVERYTHING to do with sex and all the ways one should or shouldn't have sex and all this is corruption. The true nature is what Creator put in your heart to live, and any deviation from that path is the sin -- not in that it is dirty and untouchable, but becasue it is an Adulteration from your True and Intended evolution. on p. 51 Leloup says: "Now what does it meant "to act according to the habits of our corrupted nature?" First, it is acting according to modes of thought that have become what common language calls Second Nature -- another nature that has been superimposed upon our true and "innocent' condition, a covering made up of projections [my aside: projections for instance such as projections of what is good and what is evil], a prior assumptions, and judgements that are more or less inherited from others. We apply these automatically and without the slightests concern for any examination or verification that might help us to find otu whether this prism through which we decipher reality is really telling us about Reality, or on the contrary, hiding it from us." on p. 60, Leloup quote more verses from the Gospel of Mary Magdalene 1 Attachment to matter 2 gives rise to passion against nature 3 Thus trouble arises in the whole body: 4 this is why I tell you: 5 'Be in harmony . . .' 6 If you are out of balance, 7 take inspiration from manifestations 8 of your true nature. 9 Those who have ears, 10 let them hear," end quote.
