I do not believe that Reiki energy can be harmful. Maybe that's because I

adore my teacher and that's what she taught me. I agree that some Reiki is

all about the money, but not all. Here in Memphis we have a couple of groups

that practice in churches, open-minded churches that is, they are open to

all, any seeker and any faith. They give for free and accept no money.

I have had some amazing experiences with Reiki, it has deepened my spiritual

understanding on so many subjects. To me it has been beautiful and very

cleansing, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

My teacher teaches and expects no pay, only that if she teaches you to heal

that you heal anyone who needs it. She will teach anyone she feels is ready

if they promise to use the knowledge to help others.

Reiki is like all things spiritual, some practitioners are in it because

they want to learn and help, and there are those who want power and money.

You cannot judge all by the actions of some...

Love and light,

Allison

I also love Kahlil Gibran, one's soul gets wings of them:

"I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest,

with visions to be realized,

than lord among those without dreams and desires. "
