Guest guest
Dear OmPrem, If the Guru has access to all astral planes, does this mean that a guru for a particular aspirant may be someone who has already moved out of the body, and is continually in the astral? Guest guest
You need a living Guru. Just because one has left their body doesn't mean that they have access to all astral planes. They go to the astral plane that they karmically deserve, perhaps a lower one, perhaps a higher one. So on earth, as in Heaven. If someone while embodied cannot access all of the astral planes, they will not be able to do so while in the astral plane either. If they were not a Guru on earth, they will not be suitable as a Guru while in their astral world. Also, you have to be careful about who is speaking to you from the astral planes. Mostly, it will lower order entities seeking to take control of you no matter how beautific they represent themselves. Guest guest
The Gurus in SV tradition goes, after the Kaula shraddha, to the Guru Mandala and no where else. omprem <omprem wrote: You need a living Guru. Guest guest
Namaste, Yoga is the perfect fabric, and Tantra is the loom, while the Golden Thread that reaches directly back to the Source is the Guru-Parampara.
