Ratna chapter describes different kinds of rubies which can be

obtained from different mines and rivers. "The Rubies obtained

from

Kuruvinda are to be preferred to those from Sphatika : they confer

love, prosperity, and devotion to Hari". The drift is, if one

who

meditates on Her as wearing such gems, his devotion will be

increased.
