Guest guest
Well, Flo, everything unfolded as I predicted. The scenario was as predicted. The cast of characters played their parts as predicted. The dialogue was as predicted. It was kind of like reading one of your favourite morality plays again. Now we will see what happens after the circus leaves town. Omprem
Guest guest
Yes, I must add to this remark that my prediction about YOU, made quite some time ago to several people on a group you recently chose to depart rather than being asked to leave due to a rather glaring personality disorder, came true, as well. Actually, it is quite easy to smoke out your type and get them to show their true colours...one has only to bring up a few Vama Marg practices as a topic. And, predictably the holier-than-thous will start up immediately! So, yes, now that we all know what's what, we can now get on with Shakti Sadhana! I gurarantee that none of my posts will require the ritual toothpicks! Lilith M. --- omprem <omprem wrote: > > Well, Flo, everything unfolded as I predicted. > > The scenario was as predicted. Guest guest
Aren't you the doper chick who came in with the circus? Yes, I remember now. You were always stoned on acid and/or pot and went around proclaiming to anyone and everyone that you were the 'Awakened One'. You used to have a piercing booth on the midway but I seem to remember that the Department of Health closed it down because of unsanitary conditions but perhaps I am confusing that with the booth beside you promoting urine drinking. I see that your affair with the guy in the urine drinking booth didn't work out. Too bad. But why are you here. Did the circus not tell you where it was going? I wonder why? No matter, there is an active social safety net here so you will be taken care of . As a first step, I suggest you check into the detox facility and then a treatment program to get rid of the poisons in your system. As soon as you become more coherent, the detox/treatment people will start you off with this prayer. Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; The courage to change the things I can; And the wisdom to know the difference. As you internalize this, you will become a happier person. Guest guest
Such a long lasting conceit Omprem. Certainly, if one make such a long conceit about Devi then they would be true bhaktas, ever thinking of the Goddess. Perhaps people aren't familiar with the literary notion of conceit, to which I will add this below, because this is surely where the term conceited comes from. that said, I am not implying that Omprem is conceited, as I never try to guess at anyone's character online, because amongst other reasons, people develop personas which don't even match reality in the first place, this said, conceit... conceit An extended metaphor. Popular during the Renaissance and typical of John Donne or John Milton. Unlike allegory, which tends to have one-to-one correspondences, a conceit typically takes one subject and explores the metaphoric possibilities in the qualities associated with that subject. Guest guest
Actually, I believe I already mentioned my body-piercing studio was my Kali Temple, complete with huge icon, PanchaMukha lingam, and all! At the end of the day, I would offer her the used needles. I thought it was very appropriate to gather up all that fearful energy and channel it in a constructive direction. There is so much in this world that needs praying for, that bluenoses and "pure" types like yourself prefer to disdain and avoid as "impure", while continuing to blather on about Yoga, which means "UNION". So I feel that people like myself serve a necessary function. After all, the Master Ramakrishna humbled his ego once and for all by cleaning a shudra's latrine with his hair, to divest himself of Brahminic caste-pride. But the spiritual significance of such gestures are lost on your type. To the pure, all things are pure. Guest guest
One needent judge another at all on the net as it's very hard to know who one is dealing with. People sometimes are wanna-bes on the net. They act as they wanna be perceived. We often couldn't make it as gurus or experts in another forum, like real life, and so we come across as experts here on the net. That goes for conservatives and liberals alike. But the same thing might be said in a less cynical fasion, that is, that people have traversed and overcome long distances through the net, and have finally been able to make themselves useful to others in the right settings. There's nothing wrong with Omprem or his views. He just is devoted to his master, and thinks that one needs to rely on the guru. This is fair. No need to put him down. And the converse is true. Lets all get along Lili. I enjoy your presence. Smile darlin. - Lili Masamura Thursday, November 18, 2004 7:39 PM Re: Re: TANTRA GOES SCIENTIFIO: Flo Actually, I believe I already mentioned my body-piercing studio was my Kali Temple, complete with huge icon, PanchaMukha lingam, and all!
