Guest guest
Does the concept of 'pride' not also apply to those who fiercely protect and justify their spiritual practices against those who disagree with those practices? Certainly 'pride' is a factor in those who attack others on a more personal level. How about 'pride' being contained in a laissez-faire, above-it-all attitude of non engagement in a group devoted to discussion when faced with opinions contrary to one's own? The attitude of 'forgive them for they know not what they do' is not productive. Your wise man is forgetting that he was invited into the house in order to discuss spiritual issues and practices. If he is only going to talk about the weather, he is insulting his host. Omprem , "N.
