Guest guest
Dearest Chumki, I will definitely will not ask you to "butt out". You have been a good friend of Shakti Sadhana and we will never forget that. You said "we are all adults here". I am not sure actually. There are 16 yrs old who pretend to be 60, and the 50's pretended to be otherwise. So its very difficult to say. After all this is the Maya of the cyberspace. Many get caught and get swayed, some remain focus. The weak will get distracted, the strong will remain intact. That is the beauty of the cyberspace, and I love it. I am being told that : If you tell a child and they do not listen or choose to adhere to your request, forgive them, for they are but a child. I like to extend that : if you politely request people to at least be civil and they choose not to, then forgive them too "for they know not". It is not their fault, its their karma, and they have to work it out themselves. You see we chumki are indeed a very forgiving people. Have you ever tried mud slinging in the rain chumki. Its fun. After all Lalitha too is known as "the playful one". I am being told once : you wouldn't want to play with Lalitha. Once she starts her play ure in trouble. So in my opinion I don't think so we are showing any disrespect for DEVI for it is her nature. If I see my daughter in a mood to play, I play along. If she starts to growl like a little cup [ especially when she is angry] , I join her, I growl along. The loser is the person who stops or laugh. Its fun, try it sometime. As Mary Ann remarked once : A compassionate way of handling anger. Lets us consider this as an exercise of detachment.
