Meaning:

Even if one has to the glory the horse(s) that

crushes the antagonistic enemy, ferocious hill like

elephants, infantry and chariots and stand with

dignity under the (royal) umbrella, but does not have

the holy ash of thiruvEkambar for the forehead, never

would the kingdom and honor (royal drum) would not

proper in the world !

 

Notes:

1. One can get the splendid wealth due to the good

karma one has accumulated through the past births. All

those splendour will be lost once that good karma is

spent out. If one wants the stable dignity, the

worship of Eternal Lord shiva is required.

2. anRudhal - be antagonistic; padhAthi - soldiers;

kambar - Ekambar; irun^ilam - earth.
