Guest guest
Shaktism requires general agreement with Hinduism. If you find disagreement with some of Hindu thought, then it may be that you do not correctly understand. It is best not to rely on translations for true understanding, and the Kural as presented by Shankaree is perhaps misleading for some readers. The only reason any comment from me was your stated non-comprehension of the spiritual merit of this traditional saying. Rather than investigate the Kural, you chose to bring up Nazism and Judaic sensitivity. My own Tamil is poor, but I believe that this is a more appropriate translation of the Kural in question: Decorum brings true nobility on earth; Indecorum's issue is ignoble birth. And I should expect that any reasonable person would be able to grasp the moral of these traditional "words of wisdom". And that moral is just as I have been trying to explain. P.S. My door is always open!
Guest guest
You have just described the practice of Hinduism in a nutshell. "Decorum brings true nobility on earth;" Sadhana leads to Self-realization. "Indecorum's issue is ignoble birth." If you are not consciously moving toward Self-realization, you are destined to return again and again until you understand. Guest guest
OM namo Narayana! The Thirukkural is a wonderful compilation of tried and true wisdom, and every aphorism deserves careful examination and reflexion. Thanks Omprem-Ji for nicely returning us to the point!
