Meaning:

As the unmatched ocean of grace

and the rich ocean of love for the whole world,

as the two meritorious eyes of the path of shaivam,

the pioneering and religion of very high

substance,

as the grace of the Lord Who got a dark-stain (throat)

 

and the grace of the Lady Who gave birth to the

whole world,

together the doubtless prodigy of arts-wisdom

and the king reached at the abode of the

Red-Matted Hair Celestial that day itself.

 

Notes:

1. This song describes the first meeting of the two

great saints of Shaivam who would be revered with

immense thankfulness by the devotees of the Lord for

rejuvenating the path in the period of darkness.
