1985) was an accomplished Srividya upasak who completed an

enlightening modern commentary of Sri Lalita Sahasranama in 1962.

He adds:Her look fulfills all desires of Her devotees. The presiding

Deity of Kamakoti-PItha of KancIpura. Having beautiful eyes.

Just to Add to this Commentary:

kAmAksi = 1] she whose eyes awaken desire. [2] She who have

beautiful eyes.

Desire here is not for physical enjoyment but for the ultimate goal

of Liberation.

kA [ Sarasvati ] and mA [ Lakshmi ] : are said to be DEVI's eyes,

for she bestow knowledge and material wealth to her devotees.
