Guest guest
Dear Friends: Greetings! Guruji and Amma from Devipuram, India, convey Devi's blessings for a joyous and happy new year. They offer their wishes and prayers for the Mother's grace to be always with you and your loved ones. On this occasion, we are pleased to announce the text release of Agni Vidhi or the Fire Ceremony Procedure. This procedure was decoded from the Parashurama Kalpasutra by Guruji, Sri Amritananda Saraswati, himself. As you will see, the procedure is modular and can be adapted to do a homam (fire ceremony) for any deity. For example, the above procedure can be used to do the Mahaganapathi Homam, which is recommended at the conclusion of the 40-day Mahaganapathi Tarpanam Puja. The Agni Vidhi text is available in (a) Sanskrit/English, and (b) English and can be downloaded at: http://www.vi1.org/agnividhi.shtml We gratefully acknowledge the help of two volunteers, who humbly prefer to remain anonymous, for painstakingly and meticulously working on the production of these texts. Just a few reminders: (a) We offer the opportunity of making online donations through our website link – http://www.Vi1.org/donate.shtml Your contributions are an invaluable help in the social/religious development projects undertaken by the Sri Vidya Trust, Devipuram.
