Nature Unleashed

I have read reports saying that nature unleashed her fury with the

tsunami, etc. and I thought that was an unfortunate way of seeing or

reporting what occurred. The tectonic plates shifted. There is no

need to personify or apply a gender to it, or find any meaning in it

any more than we find meaning in the rumblings of our own guts.

 

I wonder if airfares to the affected areas could be reduced so that

volunteers from all over the world could go to assist those in need

due to the tsunami's destruction. Maybe special group fares could be

organized. In that way, it would be a smaller planet (compacted by

the force of the plates shifting) in that each of us anywhere in the

world might go help out. It would be good to get some training with

the Red Cross or other organization first to be more effective, no

doubt. I have never participated in such an effort before, but would

like to. If anyone knows of such efforts being organized, post the

info. If I find anything out, I will post for anyone interested.
