Guest guest
In my opinion, Fear is basically the byproduct of our limited mind. We hide from the world, because we are afraid to face the world. We tends to live constantly in fear and therefore left in a state of numbness. We dare not move or to take that first step. We surrounded ourselves with our own familiar thoughts, so that nothing sharp or painful can touch us. We are so afraid of our own fear that we cause the death of our own hearts. Guest guest
Dear Sir, The root of all fears, anger, anxiety, selfishness, greed and desires is competition. Unless we has something to compete with, we do not feel these things. We are constantly surounded by these concepts, therefore not many of us are living without these characteristics in us at some point of our lives. We fear that we may lose, we get angry as we don't win our way, we get anxious to run along in track with what we're competing/dealing with, we're selfish about things to be kept to ourselves and not to reach out to an opponent, we're greedy to succeed and may do anything to win, and all these features bring out clearly - desire...Unless one has the desire to win, none of that will happen. They're all so closely linked... Wouldn't it be called determination to the people of these days, if we feel those features whist doing our duties, which would somehow naturally involve competition? Like myself, I'm a professional singer, which would mean my career would just be competition with another artiste in the field that I desire to target. I hope you understood my message...I don't quite know what else to add...but the points made, are however, vaild. Regards, Krishnadasi ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun! Guest guest
Thank you Sir I know what you are saying but you are not addressing the real issue. Those that you have listed out: anger, anxiety, selfishness is the outcome of fear. We have fear because we have experience pain before and therefore all these other 'ailment' comes into being: anger, anxiety, selfishness, greed etc. These are the buffer system or I would say survival instinct. We continue to layered ourselves and create more buffer as time goes on, like the cocoon, because those are our comfort zone. We began to believe that if we remove them, we becomes so naked. We are so embarrass to see nakedness, even our own nakedness. We become defenseless and therefore we will die. We created our own fear in order to avoid experiencing pain. We close Ourselves because we are afraid to come face to face with our own Pain, ultimately our own death. Ah! isnt this the root of fear? DEATH!
