LalithA SahasranAma: kanthAdhah kati paryyanta madhya kUta svarUpini

kanthAdhah kati paryanta madhya kUta svarUpini : From the throat to

the waist she represents the MadhyakUta.

MadhyakUta, kAmarAjakUta, a group of six syllabes. It is said,

"As Kama [desire to create the universe] resides in thy heart [thy

mantra of the 2nd part] is called KamarAja. O, AmbA, as thou art

about to create [the universe], the next [3rd part] is called

SaktikUta.
