Guest guest
Aleister Crowley mentions in his excellent book "Yoga", that serious yoga practice is completely incompatible with everyday life. One cannot maintain a hard-driving modern-day lifestyle and intense Yogic spiritual practices, because you become too sensitive. He states that "If you are doing these practices correctly, you will start to feel a draft on your face with the same intensity as a blow from a fist". So, that is a good sign for your practice, but a bad sign for your regular life. This is why people generally wait till they are old and finished with family life in order to renounce. It is not good to wish to withdraw from everyday life if you have a family and children depending on you.
