Guest guest
I think we have to understand one thing clearly. There is a lot of hullabaloo aqbout meat eating; drinking and sex as if THAT IS SHAKTI SADHANA. IT IS NOT. These are all optional elements that come in at a much much later stage. we must get to the stage to use these things and it all, again, depends on the instructions of Guru. I reiterate my statement that there is as much sex in tantra as in real life - a small portion. Let us not give overmuch importance to that. Thank you Mail - now with 250MB free storage. Learn more. Exactly true. > These are all optional elements that come in at a much much later stage. Perhaps for some people the problem is this: they think that sadhaka should not eat meat, drink alcohol and have sex - which is wrong according to kula-shasana in fact. But they not only keep their view for themselves (which is no problem of course) but try to push it as if it was the teaching of tradition. And at this point we have to reply. Otherwise, usage of these 3 items *AS* UPASANA should be done only after proper diksha and upadesha (as U said, "at later stage"). But no Agama or kula-guru said one cannot use them *ALONG* with ordinary (samaya) practice. I am not sure regarding them being optional (in my personal view they are necessary in this or that way); but U must be knowing that better. Best regards, A.
