An untrained mind interfers with the spontaneous feelings arising from the heart." Guest guest
"I embroidered every day for a couple of hours for about a year. I didnt recite the Mantra but my mind was focused on Tara. Then one night, I woke myself up with my own voice saying, "I am Tara, I am Radha, I am Radha. I am Tara" This carried on in my waking state for a very long time making it exceeding difficult to teach classes or do anything else." For a long time after this, I wondered how I could substantiate this experience. I know that the mind is a very tricky deceiver and it can make up something even from good desires that isnt necessarily true. >From talks with Aspirants. Is Guru necessary?
