Guest guest
Krishna Das is GREAT...I listen almost every night to his "Devi Puja" as part of my regular worship, and I just LOVE his "Hare McKrishna" on the same CD (One Track Heart) a toe-tapping rendition of the Hare Krishna chant with bagpipes and snare drums..it would be a great tune for the Ratha Yatra parade! I will also never forget listening to "Chord of Love" close to dawn, and dozing off, then being startled awake in the middle of the Om Namah Shivayah chant by what felt like someone kicking the foot of my bed..I found out later it was an earthquake! I recall just lying there with my heart in my mouth, feeling the bed shake again and again, and listening to the chant with my eyes fixed on my Shiva murti, and wondering if this was the beginning of the end of the world!
