Guest guest
Pranam, I am looking for translation of Kali Sahasranama Storam. I have the famous Kali Puja book with me, but I am not satisified with its transaltion. On the web, I could find kakArAdikAlI sahasranAma, but it has no translation. If anyone knows where I can find a translation, please let me know. Kali Kali Kali, Sai
Guest guest
I assume you mean Swami Satyananda Saraswati [Devi Mandir]'s Kali Puja book. This is sort of an aside, and not really in response to your question. The Devi Mandir website has audio recordings of class discussions for several of Swami Satyananda's books. Here's the class for the Kali Puja book: http://www.shreemaa.org/kali.htm I haven't listened to this particular class; I don't have the book. Some of the classes include long question-and-answer sessions with the students, and of course, additional commentary and explanation from Swami Satyananda. In my opinion, the audio sessions add considerable clarity and value to the books, some of which (for me) are a little sparse on commentary. Oh, and the classes are pretty entertaining, too, courtesy of Swami's rather corny sense of humor. , "Sai/saikumar_durga" <saikumar_durga> wrote: > > [....] I have the > famous Kali Puja book [....]

Guest guest
Dear ShankarJi, The following link has various Devi Stotras in different text formats: http://sanskrit.gde.to/doc_z_misc_index.html It includes both the kakArAdikAlI sahasranAmAvalI and shrIkAlikaa sahasranAma stotram - (this is the one present in the Kali Puja book). On the same website, the following link - http://sanskrit.gde.to/all_pending/ has Devi stotras and other stotras in Text (.txt) format. Again on the same website, the following link http://sanskrit.gde.to/doc_z_misc_index.html has stotras for other Dieties. In the kakArAdikAlI sahasranAmAvalI provided, starting at line 12 in the text file (http://sanskrit.gde.to/all_pending/kaaliisahasra.txt), there is a <b>conversation</b> between our Shiva and our Devi and also there is <b>phalasruthi</b> at the end. <b> If any learned member could translate these two for me, I would be a lot grateful to them </b>. Krim krim Krim, Sai. , sankara menon <kochu1tz> wrote: > where on the web please? > > > saikumar_durga <saikumar_durga> wrote: > > Pranam, > > On the web, I could find kakArAdikAlI sahasranAma, but it has no translation. > Kali Kali Kali, > Sai > > > > > Sponsor > document.write(''); > > > Links > > > / > > > > > Terms of Service. > > > > > > > >
