Incense swirls round me and closed are my eyes...

 

The ocean stretches golden before me. My toes lightly touch the cool

surface...I feel the gentle waves of beauty 'neath my feet.

 

Slumbering in the west is the day's jewel. His saffron splendour sets

the western skies ablaze in colours of crimson and purple...

 

Cinnamon and nutmeg scents swim round me in the air and I feel myself

weigthlessly drifting along the golden ocean...there are lotuses now.

Perfect and pink, shining lotuses, glowing delicately on the water's

surface.

 

A mild fragrance emanates and I must pause, I must partake of their

immortal bliss.

 

I bend to the most charming of them all; I bend to its sweet pink,

its fragrance becomming intoxicating as I inhale deeply, lost in the

wonder of the dusk...

 

The petals expand slowly yet with such speed that as I look up and

around, all I percieve is mild pink and neath my feet, all I feel is

the soft yellow, lotus's heart.

 

And so in the womd of this magnificent lotus I felt swept, as if to a

dream...to a dreamless sleep of utter bliss.

 

Anklets chime. Bracelets cling. Opening my eyes to a dazzling

radience, my vision is at first blurred. As if through a cloud of

thick, heady incense Her image forms slowly....

 

She sits on a golden throne in the midst of a bare, empty cave.

The stone walls are grey...the floor is cool and solid but not from

Her image can I remove my eyes.

 

They are fixed upon her lovely form...full of sweet beauty surrounded

as it were by Her sensuous sighs - Love's own form.

 

Her eyes are as pools of mystery and Her smile as the benevolence of

the unconditional Mother. Her hair is coiled upon her head and loose

curls fall in dark locks round her charming face. Her skin is moist

and Her breath controlled.

 

Without moving, I feel enveloped in Her arms, lost in Her purity,

asleep in the Mother's embrace...
