Guest guest
AA: Who is Manmatha? MOT : or he just go into anther transformation, as he is Kama ; the one who have the qualities of taking any form, thus when Shiva burn Manmatha, he is not dead but just assume another character just like our desires. When one desires not fulfilled another emerges… AA: yes, I think that is true. MOT : and it continues to do so until it fulfill or get what it wanted. AA : or you could note that Shiva destroyed desire, seeing it as an obstacle to spiritual progress and Devi pitied desire and revived him -- as her aide on the path of spiritual progress MOT : In shakta sense, you cannot destroy desire, when you destroy desire, you destroy creativity and when you destroy creativity what happen? Because everything begins with desire. Any start of journey begins with desire. The urge. AA : Right. again, you have the two main divinities of Hinduism -- one who destroys desire. one who revives it. The world ends -- which is what the Shaiva seeks -- to escape Maya. The Shaiva seeks to destroy, end, escape the deceptive world. The Shakta loves it as Devi Herself.........
