Dear Friends:

Guruji and Amma convey their love and blessings to all on the sacred

festival of Maha Siva Ratri to be celebrated on March 8, 2005.

Here is an excerpt from Guruji's message written specially for this

occasion - "Japam forms ears and hearing for the God in you. Puja

forms skin and touch. Homam creates the form and makes eyes.

Abhishekham or Tarpanam sprinkles life into it. Naivedyam, cooked

rice, feeds substance to it. So the God-Power is induced into you to

empower you to not only manage but also to create your destiny, the

destiny of the cosmos itself. This, in my view, is the true

significance of Maha Siva Ratri and the Lingodbhava Pujas done on

that day". Click here to read the full text of Guruji's message on

the significance of Maha Siva Ratri, Personal Destiny and the Maha

Nyasam.

I liked what your Guruji said DB about the elements of worship. I sometimes am

thinking that worship is opening us to the divine and to its very powerful

organizing abilities. Who after all is benefitiing from this act. Us of course,

and of course that which we share in the five sense, and mind offerings. And

secret offerings. We come away with a cozy of the divine burning inside. What

creative fire that can be, the Lord seems to like to create, the greater we

expand our vision of the Lord then so the more cosmic is our own creative fire

or sattva in this samsaric realm. When I say the Lord, for me that's Sri

Herself, Mother Maya, Shree Kundalini, the Goddess, My beloved Anima. To love

Her is to have the unconscious flow perfectly into expression without need of

thought, because She is all that we experience from the pinnacle of the Sri

Chakra, ourselves to her toenails, the edge of awareness which fades into

ignorance. What a beautiful thing she is. I could go on... And will someday...

The links don't work. Esp., the donate.shtml page I would like to participate.

Please PM me with them. Thanks
