I read the book and Really enjoyed it. Very highly recommended. An

inside look at the ancient world of Indian nath sadhus, who get

overlooked in the west...these are the ancient lineage of indian

wandering monks who are almost aboriginal....Wish i could meet

Rampuri , but will probably miss this tour...

Namaste,

There are great similarities between Nagas and Nathas, but Rampuriji

has spent most of his time with the Dashanami Order.

I have only seen a few pages of his manuscript (at the muddy monsoon

mela at Tryambak last year), but I expect that any "Nathas" he

considers were not from the Natha Sampradaya (unless very early in

his story).

Despite their similarities, there is a longstanding disagreement

between the followers of Shankaracarya and the followers of

Gorakhnath and the other Natha Gurus.
