Guest guest
Well, a year or so ago, when I responded to a post by Alexandra Kafka, I asked her (politely) why she phrased her questions in so flat and demanding a manner, without explaining why she was asking or using social lubricants like "please" and "thank you." She replied that she was not a native English speaker (implying that the problem was unfamiliarity with the language). I apologised and said I hoped she would brush up on her English usage. (She has continued to forgo using please and thank you, and continues to demand information with no explanation of her motivation or interest.) I don't think I have ever insulted Alexandra Kafka to her face. It was Eve 69 who said my comments about Alexandra "weren't very nice." But then, I live in rude and pushy Noo Yawk, and my shields are often up. -- Len/ Kalipadma --- NMadasamy <nmadasamy wrote: > > Len Rosenberg wrote: I'm nice to people who are nice > to me. > > > I have been wanting to respond to this statement but > never got the > chance. > > Personally I believe the real challenge is when you > are nice to > people who are never nice to you.
