Guest guest
The subject title of "Shaktism and Sha'can" inspired me to offer these songs in a playful spirit: 1) Chaka Khan - I'm Every Woman - lyrics "I'm every woman it's all in me anything you want done baby I'll do it naturally. I'm ev'ry woman it's all in me I can read your thoughts right now everyone from A to Z. I can cast a spell of secrets you can tell mix a special brew put fire inside of you. Any time you feel danger or fear instantly I will appear 'cause - I'm every woman it's all in me anything you want done baby I'll do it naturally. I can sense your needs like rain unto the seeds I can make a rhyme of confusion in your mind. And when it comes down to some good old-fashioned love that's what I've got plenty of baby. I'm ev'ry woman it's all in me I can read your thoughts right now everyone from A to Z. I ain't braggin' 'cause I'm the one you just ask me ooh and it shall be done. And don't bother to compare 'cause I've got it. I'm ev'ry woman I'm ev'ry woman I'm ev'ry woman ..." This next one I remember hearing on the radio: 2) I Feel For You Chaka, Chaka, Chaka, Chaka Khan Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, that's all I wanna do Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, let me feel for you Chaka Khan let me tell you what I wanna do Do you feel for me, the way I feel for you Chaka Khan let me tell you what I wanna do I wanna love you, wanna hug you, wanna squeeze you too Let me take you in my arms Let me fill you with my charms, Chaka 'Cause you know that I'm the one to keep you warm Chaka, I'll make you more than just a physical dream I wanna rock you, Chaka Baby, cause you make me wanna scream Let me rock you, rock you Baby, baby, when I look at you I get a warm feeling inside There's something about the things you do That keeps me satisfied I wouldn't lie to you, baby It's mainly a physical thing This feeling that i got for you, baby Makes me wanna sing CHORUS: I feel for you I think I love you I feel for you I think I love you Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, that's all I wanna do Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, let me feel for you Feel for you Baby, baby, when I lay with you There's no place I'd rather be I can't believe, can't believe it's true The things that you do to me I wouldn't lie to you, baby I'm physically attracted to you This feeling that I got for you, baby There's nothing that I wouldn't do CHORUS Yes sir, one more time Say yeah I feel for you (I think I love you) I feel for you (I, I, I think I love you) Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, that's all I wanna do Chaka Khan, let me rock you Let me rock you, Chaka Khan Let me rock you, let me feel for you Chaka Khan won't you tell me what you wanna do Do you feel for me, the way I feel for you Chaka Khan let me tell you what I wanna do I wanna love you, wanna hug you, wanna squeeze you too Let me take you in my arms Let me fill you with my charms, Chaka 'Cause you know that I'm the one to keep you warm Chaka, I'll make you more than just a physical dream I wanna rock you, Chaka Baby, cause you make me wanna scream Feel for you I feel for you (Oooh, feel for you) I feel it too (Oooh, feel for you) I feel for you (Oooh, feel for you) CHORUS
Guest guest
It may be random, but it's the syllables that brought it up, esp. "I Feel For You," with the repeated "Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan..." It's "Shak'a'can, Shak'a'can, Shak'a'can...." Either way, you're a youngster. For me, I think these were playing when I was in high school!
