After a short break, we're back to posting these Tsunami photos,

based largely on statistics that say once a disaster story drops out

of the news cycle, peoples' memories quickly fade (and charitable

assistance swiftly drops off). In our small way, we wish to let

those able to help know that the need is still there.

This week's caption:

Indian women tsunami survivors carry pots of drinking water in

tsunami-hit Nagapattinam, in the southern Indian state of Tamil

Nadu, March 24, 2005. The toll of dead and missing three months

after the Asian tsunami, triggered by a magnitude 9.0 earthquake off

Indonesia on December 26, 2004, stands at 288,376, according to

collated figures from government and health officials. REUTERS/Babu

Where is the photo? It wasn't apparent in the photos folder. Can you

post a link to it, or fill me in on what I'm missing? Thanks in

advance.

Hi Mary Ann:

It's right on the group's front page:

/

Underneath the Khadgamala devi and quotes. If you usually relate to

the group via e-mail, I guess my post would seem confusing, so

thanks for the opportunity to clarify!

Hi DB: I usually just go to the message board via my "favorites," so

thanks for clarifying.
