Guest guest
Are we supposed to comment on this. Well, pertaining to the Siva Linga, details are given in the Linga Purana, and my guess is that the details may hold true for all household deities, that is, household deities souldn't be too large. If the deity form is too large then it's good to place it in a public place near ones home, or at very least make offerings fairly frequently. However since the diety is infinite and subatomic at the same time it's really just maya hw one chooses to offer. The offering is what's most imortant. One can make an offering in a flat field devoid of any icon. Worship is up to you. Best to make oneself the pranapratishta, and do worship within the five senses and mind. - NMadasamy Friday, April 08, 2005 11:34 AM From Our Homepage Dear Sir, Can you advise of what if any restrictions on worship and size of household deity?
