I would like to hear from people about their favorite Devi bhajans.

Names of recordings would be great too... or URLs if they can be

heard online.

One of my most beloved is Anpiyanamba, sung by Mata Amritanandamayi

and devotees. (This is in Malayalam, but I heard the tune once in

Hindi or something close, with different lyrics, so maybe it was

adapted.) The chorus goes, "O loving Mother, pouring out your smile

like a rain of honey, wipe out the darkness in my heart and live

inside there."

Also Nij Caranom Ka Pyar, on Jagjit Singh's album Maa.

My current favorite is a Bengali bhajan, Isvari Jagodisvari.

My familiarity with Devi Bhajans begins and ends with Ammachi (Mata

Amritanandamayi). There are several there.

Triloka Matra Rupini (this is awesome in its impact!)

Bhavani Bhagyavidhatri

Isvari Jagadishvari (original malayalam version, not the bengali one

you mentioned)

Iswara Lila Yidellam (yes this is a Devi song too!)

I have heard that Shree Maa and KarunaMayi Devi have also sung some

wonderful songs (they are reputed to have a great voice) and I have

heard some over the websites online radio, but not keenly followed

them.
