I don't know anything about this woman, is anyone on this list familiar with

her???

I know she is very famous and I spoke with a friend of mine who met her

before. He said that she gives pranic hugs and that the energy transmission is

real. My friend is not a follower and has his own Buddhist Guru but he said that

her prana is very strong and can be percieved if you are open to such things. I

tend to trust him when it comes to these matters.

I think I may go and attened the meeting. I could sure use a pranic hug right

about now! Any thoughts or insight into Ammachi?? Anyone here familiar with

her??

Thanks and love to all of you especially.....um...Noraji because she is

sweet, Buttercookie for being so delightful and Devibhakta for being such a

wealth

of interesting info.

And to all of you love and blessings under Ma. She is guiding us all in

sometimes very different ways!

Peace,

William

She's pretty awesome. Worth checking out for sure. She also has a good mantra

meditation that is free, or used to be. You can usually get it by waiting until

the end of the night.

Hi William: Thanks for the sweet message. I love Ammachi, also called Amma. Yes,

she gives darshan in the form of a hug. Thousands line up when she is available.

She

has been working very hard since the tsunami to provide for those who lost so

much.

I'm not sure she is touring these days. You can read more about her at

http://www.amritapuri.org, or www.amma.org, and see what her travel plans are,

if

any. She is amazing. Deepak Chopra has said wonderful things about Amma. I

wondered what they would think of each other because she is about bhakti and

selfless service and he's about creating abundance in material and spiritual

wealth,

but there is no contradiction. There are devoted to Amma, also.

I hope you can get your hug!

Namo Namah,

Mary Ann

P.S. I hope that my closing with "Namo Namah" isn't disrespectful. Someone

onboard translated it as "I bend over backwards" (with devotion!). But if I'm

offending,

please clue me in.
