Dharam and Karam

Warm hello to everyone,

 

Can someone please explain to me the difference between Dharam and Karam. I

have been given an idea that Dharam is about doing the right thing, and

Karam is about doing the right thing, even if someone things its wrong, or

the majority thinks its wrong. But does following Karam mean breaking

dharam? This is where I am a bit confused about all of this. If possible can

someone give me an example where Dharam and Karam meet, like Love maybe, but

I am not sure.

 

Please do help me out with this minor confusion. Thanks to all for reading
