How widely worshipped is Bahuchara Ma? From what I've

read, she is primarily a protector of eunuchs and

trans-gender people. Is there a South Asian eunuch

population in Atlanta?

Well no ,most worshippers of Bahuchara aren't gay, trangendered or drag queens

nor are her priests.This is an internet myth that confused me for

awhile.Buhuchara is an incarnation of bala tripura sundari and the eunich myth

is just one small facet of her worship that seems to be dying out in india but

being promoted on the internet.She is a regional goddess widely worshipped and

prayed to for just about everything by everyone in that area.The gays in Atlanta

haven't discovered her shrine here but then most into eastern stuff are into

tibetan buddhism, So most of the worshippers of Bahuchar here are little old

gujarati women i suspect who come from her region. The website for her temple in
