Guest guest
Yes, do this with Kali Yantra. Also good is paint wall behind bed red. But maybe you should check the vastu of your room. Perhaps the head of the bed is close to the toilet? This isn't good. Position head East or South for best energy. Not under a window. Fill the room with Siva Lingas, and rudraksha beads. They banish all bad vibes fast. Shree Yantras are good too. Kali is good yes for protection. Who better? How about this great long Kali mantra Om hrim hrim whom whom krim krim krim dakshinay kalikay krim krim krim whom whom hrim hrim swaha. I've always wanted to do this one until siddhi but have been waylaid. BTW you have a great name, perhaps try Kamala mantras. - kamal patel Kali_Ma Monday, December 02, 2002 12:16 PM Namaste, Can anyone share some Kali mantras with me? I chant Ma Kali Durge Namo Namo. That's the only one I know. Also, If one places a kali yantra on the head board of their bed, could it protect against hostile attacks during sleep. I have been having bizar dreams, and have been waking up feeling drained. I feel a pressure on me from time to time when in bed.I keep running into psychic vampires too. I was thinking about getting a MahaKali Yantra. jai Mataji, kamal Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Guest guest
<om kring kalika rakshamam> is a mantra meaning "Kali be my protector." Your bed should be set up so that your head, while asleep, is towards the west or east. Under no cirumstances should you sleep with your head towards the north! Hindu mothers sing a lullabye to their babies that says that "your head lies safe in Lakshmi's lap, and Bhadra-Kali stands guard at the foot of your bed." So it may be more appropriate to place a Kali yantra at the foot of your bed, or keep a statue or picture of Kali in that direction. Lakshmi is more appropriate for your headboard. For your sleep problems, try "sleeping with water." Put a good-sized cup of fresh water near your head (say, on a side table near your bed) while you sleep. You may want to add a pinch of salt, or a tiny chip of camphor. It's best if you bless the water. Here's a Sanskrit blessing to invoke the seven river-goddesses into the water: <om gange cha jamune chaiva godavari saraswati/ narmade sindhu kaveri jale'smin sannidhim kuru//> The negative energy will get caught in the water during the night. When you wake in the morning, carry the icky water-cup in your left hand, and pour it down the toilet. Do NOT touch or drink any of the water! Rinse the cup with three fillings of fresh water (also poured down the toilet), and allow it to air-dry before using it next evening. About a week of such "sleeping with water" usually removes bad dreams and energy draining at night. Stop when the symptoms stop. -- Len/ Kalipadma On Mon, 2 Dec 2002 10:16:53 -0800 (PST) kamal patel <one_kamal writes: > > Namaste, > Can anyone share some Kali mantras with me? Guest guest
>On the other hand, it was Muslims and Christians who brought >casteism and mistreatment of women into India. I'm not one to rush to the defense of Christians and Muslims, to put it mildly, but really, just read the Manusmrti. As for Puranas, a number of them enjoin women to incinerate themselves on their husband's funeral pyres. All the social evils can't be attributed to outsiders, and it's possible (and desirable) to fully acknowledge the evils of colonialism while still seeing that injustice was also present before the Muslim and Christian invasions.
