Guest guest
Michelangelo choosed to make Adam and the Creator to equal parts in the moment of creation, where one is the giver and the other the receiver of Life, their eyes met full of mutual confidence. However, that is not Willam Blakes view. His art Elohim Creates Adam shows instead the creation as an act of force. Adam protest aginst the creation. The snake - the matter - twines around his body imprisoning his soul with anger, hatred, love, jealosuy etc, he is bounded and unfree when he comes to the world. It is an act of rape!!!
