Meaning:

Oh Father, (You) showered with love on this slave;

(You) got (me) bathed with the holy water by the

Gracious look;

How difficult You are, (but) became simple (for me);

Taking me into Your fold, showing mercy You accepted;

(I am) insane, stupid, devilish, dog-like, (still You)

 

tolerated all the mistakes;

All these are for (the useless) me!! alas alas!!

So stayed Your holy grace, my Lord!

 

Notes:

1. When the soul realizes the great amount of mercy

God shows on it, not once but continuously even

tolerating all its misdeeds, and also thinks about the

grandeur of God and its complete uselessness to God,

all it can do is hail that Grace.
