purusArthapradA : Granting the objects of human desire.

 

Artha, the four objects of human desire. The Brahma. Pr says, "those

who worship the Supreme Sakti whether properly or improperly, are

certainly not in samsAra but are liberated souls. Hence no castes

conjointly attain prosperity and release without the adoration of

TripurA [Devi]"

 

Or, Purusa, Siva, as the Sruti [Tai Sam] says, "Purusa is Rudra."

Artha, liberation, that is, the worship of the unconditioned Brahman

and the results thereof depend on Sakti alone.
