pUrnA – The fullness.

 

As she is free from the limitation of time, place and circumstance.

The Sruti [br. Up., V. 1], "That [brahman] is fullness; this is

fullness, fullness proceeds from that fullness; on grasping the

fullness of this fullness, the fullness alone remains."

 

Or Purna, means the fifth, tenth, fifteenth, NityA deities, the

fourteenth bright night, also the name of a river.
