Guest guest
Hello Group members, Its very interesting to read the discussion on 5M. But as one member has said, isnt our goal to become a complete whole (male and female). Then why should we continue to emphasize on male/female which only increases duality after the initial stage is through. The discussion doesnt take into view the philosophy of the Samaya School, Shouldnt the worship become more internal than external as we progress. I understand that the 5M helps break down the mind and frees it, but after that when you are happy internally why find it through external means. Sri Ramakrishna's exhaustive Tantra Sadhana as detailed in The Great Master is an excellent treatise looked much safer and surer after the initial obstacles are overcome. My 2 cents. Vinay He is born in vain, who having attained the human birth, so difficult to get, does not attempt to realize God in this very life. - Sri Ramakrishna "When wishes are few, the heart is happy. When desire ends, there is peace." - Buddha Mail Mobile Take Mail with you! Also, IMO this complete whole is a loving pair, not a single man... Then why should we > continue to emphasize on male/female which only > increases duality after the initial stage is through. This is not correct. If one is in love with a woman/man this very love can be deified, made sacred through aropa. As it is said, Kama is purified by Prema, while without Kama no Prema arises. What i wrote regarding 5M cannot be applied to each and every person. But that is the case with Kaula-tantra in general. Those who understand can make use of that doctrine. > The discussion doesnt take into view the philosophy of > the Samaya School, Shouldnt the worship become more > internal than external as we progress. This is the teaching of Kula-mata as well. And as Shadamnaya-tantra says, Devi should be worshipped only through bodies of each other - and this is chakranushthana, 5M or Kamakala- dhyana. I understand > that the 5M helps break down the mind and frees it, > but after that when you are happy internally why find > it through external means. Perfection is when Love is actualized on outward level, not only exist inside. 5M is much more than mere break down. It is the ladder leading to the heart of Kula, Kamakala. > Sri Ramakrishna's exhaustive Tantra Sadhana as > detailed in The Great Master is an excellent treatise > looked much safer and surer after the initial > obstacles are overcome. One SV priest told me that it was a sin of Ramakrishna that he never taught anyone that what he knew of Kula... Love is the law, love under will. A. It is as difficult as to obtain a true Guru. But, through the Grace of Devi anything is easy . If Ur heart is opened to Her and Ur intention is sincere, definitely She will give U all that U are in need of. > and even if fortunate the couple would have to be careful not to fall down from the path Again exactly right. But if both are devoted to their love and to God, that will keep them safe. Guru also helps . > can you please advice what are the requirements to follow the kula marga, and what need to be done if the devotee doesnt have those pre requisite Requirement is true devotion to Devi, acceptance of Ur own self, intention to reveal Ur true nature and will, prayer, right logic and capacity to understand. Then, one has to find a kula-guru and follow his teaching. If that is not possible due to some reason, he has to study Agamas and pray to Devi that their meaning be revealed to him. > I am looking forward to your insight on this Let our Divine Mother and Beloved bless U with true insight and higher love! Sincerely, A.
