Guest guest
Dr. C. Suryanarayana Murthy explains further: "[Devi is beloved] of Rati, the wife of Manmatha [i.e. KAma], because She revived her [Rati's] husband. This famous story is also referred to in Name 84, Hara-NetrAgni- Samdagdha-KAmasamjIvanausadhiH, "She is the revivifying remedy to KAma, who was destroyed by the fire of the third eye of Hara." "Hara-NetrAgni denotes Pure Knowledge: Having destroyed all [of Her devotee's] desires, She will confer on the devotee the immortality of SamjIvana."
