namaste everyone!

i'm santosh from hyderabad, india. i'm new to this group and glad to

join in.

please read through my mail and help me if you can & please pardon my

ignorance.

what i have is only a little bit of love towards the jaganmata. i

don't know anything about how to expand that love. i donno how to

recite sahasranamas nor i understand sanskrit.

could you please take some time and answer these questions...

1) is there any simple/recitable mantra about Her?

2) can i recite that mantra any time/anywhere? during anything? like,

work/bath/travel etc? [sometimes if i here some shloka/song of Her...

few words/sentenses kind of stay in my mind for some hours/days. i

tend to recite/think about them silently wherever i go, even if iam in

a toilet and i suddenly stop because it scares me. scares me because,

i dont know whether it is good to take Her name in all places.]

3) do i have to recite mantras/shlokas/sahasranamas in a particular

way? what happens if i do mistakes?

4) i was going through some of the messages here and somebody

mentioned about 'guru initiating students'. do i have to be initiated

by a guru before learning anything or recite mantras/shlokas?

5) i want to learn about bija mantras. where can learn about them and

how to say them etc. if somebody can briefly explain about why the

bija mantras are created and who made them it will be really great.

6) what do i have to imagine in my mind when i recite Her name? i read

about chakras, kundalini etc., and i'm totally confused. first of all,

do i have to imagine something at all ot just blank and nothing else.

7) where can i find "kAli" sahasranama, mantras, shlokas etc.

everything related to 'kAli' amma.

8) how can i concentrate on the mother? i don't want to remember

anything when i want to be with her? why do other things come into my

mind whenever i want to do it?

9) many people say that, we have to follow a very strict diet, no

non-vegetarian, no alcohol/nicotine etc. only then u can recite

shlokas etc. how true is it? can i just be myself and still try to

concentrate on the mother?

please help me find out some answers.

sincerely

santosh

Hi Santosh!

If you want to learn more about chakras, try to learn pranic healing. In the

'Google' search check for AndraPradesg pranic healing foundation. In my

opinion, Pranic healing is a must for all

Sadhaka. Just give a try in knowing what Pranic healing is. Very soon you will

be amazed by the significance of it.

Regds,
