I am most familiar with devotion to Green Tara of

Tibet. She helped me to heal a broken bone in my foot

in record time!

The Hindu Tara in many ways resembles Ma Kali, and I

do recall reading about a distinct mantra for her,

different than the Buddhist version. Hindu Tara is

also called Nila Saraswati (dark-blue eloquence) --

she grants poetic inspiration, and I believe her most

important shrine is the Tarapith near Kamakhya.

Thanks for writing, Vikram.

Hi Len

Nice to hear from you

infact when the navavarna puja was done by sri amritananda of devipuram, the

same tara mantra chanted by the tibetan monks was chanted

I feel that there is some comman ground between the tibetan tantra and the hindu

tantra

regards

vikram
