The PAdma Pr, in the chapter enumerating the sacred places says, "SitA is in the TrikUta [mountain] and VindhyAdhivAsini in the Vindhya [mountain]." The PANcarAtra in the Lakmi Tr. Says, "In the Vaivasvata- manvantra, two daityas, Sumbha and Nisumbha, over-elated by their boons, will do injury to the Devas. Born in the Nandagopa's family, in the Womb of Yasoda, I under the name of Nanda, residing in the Vindhya Mountain, shall destroy these two." The same story is repeated in the MArk. Pr.
