Guest guest Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Yes it is easy to reach Thiruvadaimarudur from Tanjore. There is a story that Bhaskara Raya attained Samadhi at Thiruvadaimarudur. There is another story that he attained his samadhi at SpatakotiswaraKshetra in present Goa which was demolished by the Portugese to erect the present St. Xavier's Church. I do not know which is the correct version. But I have seen intrinsic evidence that Bhaskara Raya wrote sethu Bandha sitting in that temple.
