I just like to add - Had anybody taken Mantra Diksha from Amma would be

adviced to chant LS.

Often I have heard Amma saying 'children scriptures are important but more

important is to do sadhana and goddess will lead one to their path - DO

SADHANA IS HER WATCHWORD.

 

One devotee taking her darshan was well read in scriptures - amma just

commented - 'YOU HAVE read enough, now, it is time to concentrate on

sadhana' - extract from her monthly magazine.

 

Had anybody noticed - it is widely proclaimed that amma gives mantras easily

without even judging her followers of their spiritual sadhana but I

strongly disagree with this statement ,amma asks her tobe follower to write

their personal chosen GODDESS NAME in a piece of paper - via this she is

able to judge their spiritual sadhana and initiate mantras accordingly.

 

Another observation- not everyone gets manta diksha - a crowd of 20thousand

only 10 people ask for mantra diksha. She uses some spiritual power to

distill the number of followers.

 

I must confess- she is one spiritual leader who can be approached by

anyone(both educated and uneducated, orthodox and unorthodox) - she exhibits

that sort of simplicity. She does not give elaborate procedure for mantras.

It is simple and can be chanted anywhere and everywhere.

 

she is very sharp and very clever. She once said - being born in a fishing

village all that she knew was Lord Krishna but her previous birth

evolvement has shown her Goddess. HER advice is simple ' think of any god

that comes to their mind and chant LS -that god will accept it. There is no

competition in that level.

 

SHE MAKES VERY CLEAR THAT NO BODY NEED TO CONVERT THEIR RELIGIION. This,

statement I hear from many spiritiual leaders. Once Shankaracharya came

across a foreigner who was very keen on converting herself to hindhuism - he

strongly disapproved and adviced her to follower her birth religiion.

 

I observe that even in Guruvayur THEY CHANT LS. Can anybody clarify why

Nambodries in that temple carry a small pouch in thier left side of hip,

what does that say.. Why elephant gets erection when he reaches main

entrance. why and what does that say or got to do with god.
